HUTSON, Betty Rector

Mrs. Betty Hutson, 55, Kingman, died at 7 a.m. Monday, October 24, at her home.
  Born February 22, 1928, she was the daughter of Samuel and Hazel Kirby Rector. October 26, 1946, she married James D. Hutson, who survives. She was a resident of Kingman the past eight years and formerly lived in Covington, Attica, and Hillsboro.
  Other survivors include her mother, Hazel Ramer of Wichita, Kansas; seven children, Wretha Jane Gebhart of Seven Points, Texas, Bonnie Hamm, Louella Meeker, and Oliver Hutson, all of Danville; Harried Arends of Slater, Iowa, James D. Hutson Jr. of Westville, and Peter D. Hutson at home; a brother, Richard Rector of Oberlin, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Merle VanLeer of Covington and Mrs. Sonny Sandoval of Wichita, Kansas; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
  Services were conducted Wednesday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Edgar Allen officiating. Burial was in Bend Cemetery in Covington. -s-
